***Please note- currently my lead time is approximately 9 months***
I cover a small radius of approximately 15 miles around Burton on Trent. I tend to keep close to home as I have such a strong core of local, loyal customers and rarely need to travel further. I will consider work further afield, so its always worth getting in touch; however, I will require a photo of the space, a description and rough measurements before travelling is considered.
I only use high quality materials including real wood veneers, solid hardwoods such as oak, poplar & walnut- along with high quality man-made boards such as premium Hidrofugo MDF and birch plywood. All hardware is sourced from premium, trusted suppliers and comes with a 10-year guarantee.
Lead times vary depending on the scope of the work. Due to high demand and the completely handmade, bespoke nature of my furniture, the process naturally takes time. You can usually expect a lead time of between three and nine months (typical for the genuine bespoke industry) but I will be able to give you an exact timeframe once we have discussed your specific project.
Yes, quotes are completely free. However, as every quotation requires significant design, travel and planning time, I always start by providing a quick ballpark figure. To do this, I simply ask for a brief description and a photo of your space before we move forward with an in-person consultation.
Generally, no. Simply because the majority of cheaper quotes tend to be for mass-produced or semi-bespoke furniture using standard-sized carcasses and lower-tier hardware. It just cannot be compared to the quality of furniture I manufacture. In short, you can always find cheaper options, but I genuinely believe you won't find better value than what I offer.
Yes, depending on the size of the project. Typically I'll ask for a 10% booking fee to secure your place in the diary, with a further 40% when I come to order the materials for the job. The remaining 50% is then due on completion.
Every part of your furniture is sprayed in my workshop using a dedicated spray booth, and then assembled fully finished in your home.
The lighting system I use simply requires an electrical socket located anywhere on the walls where the furniture is going. As long as there is an existing socket, I can install all the LED lighting myself. If there isn't a socket nearby, you will just need to arrange for an electrician to fit one before the installation date.
Yes, the room will need to be cleared before I arrive so I can complete the installation safety and efficiently. If there are large items, such as beds or sofas, that are impossible to remove, I can usually work around them. We can discuss this during my initial visit to measure up.
It depends on the size of the project. A typical installation takes 2-3 days, but smaller projects like a single wardrobe or alcove unit can often be completed within a day. Larger projects will naturally take longer, but I will always give you a clear estimate of the installation timeframe during the quotation stage.
No, you don't need to be home. My clients regularly leave me with a key while they go to work, or even schedule the installation while they are away on holiday. If you work from home, or prefer to be there during the installation that is absolutely fine too. Ultimately, I want you to carry on with your day-to-day life as normal, and I will happily work around you with minimal disruption.
